Answering some questions, which I thought you may want answering!!

About The Kind Mail Club

The Kind Mail Club is a monthly subscription that brings you a handwritten-style letter in the post – filled with reflections, poetry, prompts that invite you to slow down to reconnect with yourself…and… there is some surprise art (for random 20 people every month). So, to clarify, each envelope carries a story, a reflection prompt, and a short poem – all centred around various ideas, topics that direct us towards the various facets of kindness

I started this because I missed the warmth of receiving letters – the kind that carried thought, time, and genuine care. Living with chronic illnesses, I’ve learned that kindness, hope, and reflection are what carry us through. The Kind Mail Club is my way of sharing that – through stories that comfort, connect, and remind us that we’re not alone.

Each month, you’ll receive:

  • letter with a story and reflection.
  • prompt card to inspire journaling or quiet thought.
  • poem card that captures the theme of the month.
  • And a bonus art print for 20 random subscribers – handmade or printed from my original work.

Yes. Every story, poem, and reflection prompt is written and designed by me. Each month’s theme grows out of my own reflections, experiences, and a story that has stayed with.

The stories often explore the themes of resilience, reflection, and finding small joys in life’s challenges. They may draw from art, philosophy, daily experiences, or moments of insight that invite you to see life a little differently.

The letters are printed in a typewriter-style font for that nostalgic touch and each one is stamped with The Kind Mail Club logo in red ink, signed by me for a personal feel.

Each letter is exclusive to subscribers. The experience of receiving it physically, and reading it slowly, is part of what makes it special. Occasionally, I may share small excerpts on my website or Instagram. If you miss subscribing for any month and wish to receive older letters, then every 6 months, I will open this up.

Yes! Each month explores a new idea or feeling, such as potential, gratitude, patience, or connection through a story, a reflection, and a poem that weaves together around that theme.

Each reflection prompt is designed to help you pause and look inward. You can write your thoughts on the prompt card, in a journal, or simply keep it somewhere visible to revisit over time. There’s no right or wrong way, it’s about gentle discovery. They’re the size of a business card, so it’s easier for you to carry with you through the month – to look at and pause. An anchor that keeps you coming back.

Subscriptions & Delivery

Once you subscribe, you’ll receive one envelope every month by post. The subscription automatically renews monthly until you decide to pause or cancel it.

The cut off date is the 15th of every month. Any sign ups made after the 15th will be seen as subscriptions for the following month. For example…

If you subscribe between 16th October to 15th November, you will receive the letter for December. Since I am based in India, the postal service can take longer for international mails, and I would like you to be able to receive the letter earlier in the month so that you have the whole month to properly reflect on the prompt. Plus as someone with multiple chronic health issues, I am slower and need more time to get the letters out to you.

Letters are usually posted in the last week of the prior month, and depending on your location, should reach you within 7–14 days within India (and a bit longer for international mail). So, for example, December letters will be sent out between 25th-30th November.

Yes, The Kind Mail Club ships worldwide! I am using the Indian Postal Service, so arrival times may vary depending on the destination, but I do my best to ensure each letter reaches you in good time.

You’ll find current pricing on the subscription page – it covers the letter set and postage.

Yes, of course. You can pause or cancel at any time before your next billing cycle. Life happens, and I want this experience to feel kind – not like another task. Your option on PayPal will be to cancel – but if you’re pausing, you’ll need to just start the subscription again. You can email me on thekindmailclub@gmail.com if you have any issues, or are just pausing, because like I said, life happens!

If your letter hasn’t reached you within a reasonable timeframe, please reach out via email. I’ll happily resend it.

Personalisation & Extras

Yes. Each letter begins with your name, to make it feel like it’s written just for you (because it is!)

It’s a great idea, and I’m always welcome to suggestions – so do share via email thekindmailclub@gmail.com but I won’t be able to guarantee writing about that topic. But it will allow me to keep my eyes, ears (& heart) open to it – and if I come across something that is relevant to what has been suggested, then I will write about it.

Every month, I create a small handmade or printed artwork – it could be a mini print, illustration, or something else… that’s included as a bonus for 10 randomly selected subscribers.

I’ll place it in 20 different envelopes, as randomly as possible. It’s my small way of spreading a little extra surprise and joy.

Currently, the art and poem cards are exclusive to subscribers. But every 6 months, I will make a few prints or bundles available of the previous 6 months gone by.

Community & Values

Because life is challenging enough and I believe slowing down with kindness helps us heal, connect, and grow. Reflection gives our experiences meaning, and kindness reminds us we’re not alone.

Possibly, if relevant and with your consent. Occasionally, I may include reader reflections or insights that align with a future theme.

If you connect with what I do, the best way to support is by subscribing, gifting a subscription, or sharing the club with friends. I’m open for collaborations – but honestly, it’s such a broad term nowadays, but we can always discuss this. You can email me – thekindmailclub@gmail.com.

Payments & Policies

For those outside India – I accept payments through PayPal.

Yes, absolutely. Your mailing address and details are used only to send your letters and will never be shared or sold.

Due to the handmade and mailed nature of each piece, refunds aren’t possible once letters are sent. However, if your letter is lost in transit, I’ll gladly send a replacement.
